Which service is right for my watch?
Care Basics covers quartz watches needing a battery, strap, or gasket. The Mechanical Overhaul is for any hand-wound or automatic calibre that hasn't been serviced in four or more years, or one showing rate issues. Rebuild & Refinish is for pieces where the case or bracelet also needs structural or cosmetic work alongside a full movement rebuild. If you're unsure, describe the watch and we'll point you in the right direction.
How long does a Mechanical Overhaul take?
Most mechanical overhauls are completed within three to five working weeks. More unusual calibres that require sourced parts may take longer — we'll let you know at intake if that applies to your piece. We don't hold work without communicating a status update.
Can I bring in a watch I bought second-hand with no papers?
Yes. We work on watches regardless of whether you have original documentation. The service scope is based on the watch's condition, not its paperwork. A brief intake check helps us confirm the calibre and what the movement needs.
Do the prices shown cover everything?
The listed prices cover labour and standard consumables (lubricants, gaskets, generic straps for Care Basics). If a worn component such as a mainspring, jewel, or crystal needs replacing, we quote that separately and wait for your approval before ordering. Strap or bracelet materials in the Rebuild & Refinish tier are also quoted by material choice.
What is the written accuracy log you provide?
After a Mechanical Overhaul we run the movement on a timing machine in dial-up, dial-down, and crown-positions orientations. The results — rate in seconds per day, amplitude, and beat error — are printed and included with the returned watch. It's a practical reference point if you ever want to compare future performance.
Is the workshop based in Pattaya?
We are on Second Road in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung — the Chonburi province address that covers the Pattaya area. Walk-ins are welcome during working hours. If you are coming from further afield, calling ahead means we can have a bench space ready and give you undivided time.
